News: Office of Child Protection

April is designated as National Child Abuse Protection Month. We are called through scripture and teaching to protect the life and dignity of each person.  The month of April is recognized nationally to promote awareness, educate ways of prevention, and pray for healing for those who have suffered abuse.

The pinwheel is the symbol chosen to represent Child Abuse Prevention Month. Pinwheels are a symbol of innocence and joy. The color blue is a symbol of hope and heavenly grace.
